1"Lowering Kit for HD Touring Bike Review by Steve

Didn’t fit properly. Review by Jason
Unfortunately this didn’t fit my 2023 SGS very well. Wasn’t enough clearance from my slip on exhaust. Plus, I didn’t really notice any difference after installing this 1 inch lowering block. I ended up switching out the seat and it lowered me perfectly. (Posted on 3/31/2023)

I upgraded to 13" legend arc suspension for my 2021 RG Special. Although Legend says you won't notice a difference from the 12" stock shock height, you do. It threw off the handing of the bike and felt like it was pushing into the corners. Absolutely hated the way it handled and almost scrapped the new shocks. Decided to try the 1" lowering blocks and it was perfect. Back to dragging floorboards and it lays over beautifully in the high speed corners. Note: due to new shock mount angle the passenger side shock has rubbed a little on the inside of the bag when riding 2up with tour pack. (Posted on 6/16/2022)

I purchased two sets for the 21 Street Glide Specials my wife and I ride. With the lowering kit added our bikes are much more stable and after a month riding with them installed we find no adverse side effects like bottoming or binding on the bags. Perfect for my RoadKing Review by Sportyone
One of the best changes I've made so far on my 2017 RoadKing. Looked tipped forward and now looks more level. Handles better at low speed too. I'm 5'10" and love the extra inch of reach to the ground. Installed in about an hour. (Posted on 6/23/2021)

Works well. I do have some constructive criticism. Legend shocks rub inside of bags now. Seems just enough to rub paint off down to the plastic. Kind of a bummer but still worth it. Also, tightening the right side shock bolt rotates the lowering block until it is stopped by the limits of the pocket. Needs a set screw to keep it from rotating when tightening. Picked this kit up for installation of my Legends 14" shocks. Needed the lowering blocks for axle to exhaust clearance. Worked out perfectly. Easy to install. Everything, other than thread locker, was included. Excellent fit and finish. The parts are well packaged so there wasn't any odd scrapes or scuffs. As expected from DK, very high quality.
I installed on my 17 street glide special easily and married it up to the DK Bitubo 13 inch shocks. WOW. What a great ride!! And about an inch lower to boot!
btw, I'm not new to riding or suspensions. I've had Ohlins, Legends shocks and Legends forks over the years and I've ridden over 100k miles. A friend did the same thing using the 13 inch ProAction shocks and he's very happy too.
I should mention however that I don't know how the crappy Harley shocks would work and I ride solo with my weight and stuff in the side bags etc on the bike at about 200 pounds.
I'm extremely pleased with this set up.
I'm not affiliated with DK other than being a paying customer.

These are high quality pieces. Fit and function are perfect. Unfortunately I had to pull mine off. I have the Legend Revo A shocks on my bike. These mounts kicked the shock back to far and the top was hitting the bag support and binding the eyelet of the top bolt up. Not DK fault just worth noting with the Legend Shocks.
