Needed this for my forward controls on my 1200 iron. Now I can add any type of peg or mini boards. I found them easy to install. I went with black and they look fantastic. I had some questions and service department was top notch and helped me. I’m a customer for life. (Posted on 2/8/2022)

Best option to correct HD’s offset clevis Review by John
My 2017 Iron 883 came with standard clevis’s It also came with mid controls. I wanted to try out forward controls so I bought the actual HD forward control kit.

The HD forward control kit comes with off set clevis’s. So it converts my standard Iron 883 to one of the custom Sportsters with the stupid offset. Most people just grind them down, but I wanted a nice set and I got them in black instead of chrome. Please stop with all the chrome.

So, these fix the problem of not accepting almost all HD and after market pegs. Also you can skip the chrome if you want. I did.
