Friggin Awesome 0 people found this helpfulThis is a bit of a follow-up actually, last June (23) I reviewed the new CatchCan and since have a further revelation, I cannot believe how great my bike works. I’ve done a bunch of tuning and it’s only since cutting of the feed of Goop, pre-CatchCan, that she holds a tune, not changing Plugs every 3-500 miles. I have made one change that I think is a nod to the environment, I plugged all but one hole in the cap. The last hole was counter-drilled ( not all the way through) for 1/4” diameter. Borrow access to a drill press if necessary. I then cut and bent 1/4” od brass tubing that now runs to the back of the Intake and plugs in thru a grommet. Here’s the beauty of this diversion, I route what was going to atmosphere (I’m not a Tree Hugger) which should boost compression. Tubed up this way the Catchall is under continuous negative pressure, anything gaseous gets burnt EPA might approve! It’s hitting the carb in small doses in proportion to rpm, all good. The other comment I noticed that struck me as odd. The mention of strapping down the catch-all, totally not necessary. If your hose shaping and trimming is neat but snug under intake, you’ve got nice and easy access to draining the cup. There’s no weight to it so the hose is stiff enough to carry it. Only thing I’ve noticed with my slung mount, there must be transferred vibration since the cup has tightened up from the day’s ride.

I know that is difficult because of the many locations it can be placed. I made it work with the included zip ties and it doesn't move.

Did my homework and yours had what I thought was the best quality and was simple in design and the right size for application. The filter system was simple, but very well though out and works without oil mist coming out of top. Three minutes on my buffing wheel and the can blended in with my chrome. Thanks for taking the time to do all the videos, you guys really helped explain everything in detail which is very helpful before purchase. Next I'll be looking at your oil filter relocation kit for my bike. Thanks again for a great product.

Great customer service! 0 people found this helpfulI looked around a while before pulling the trigger on ordering this. I settled on the DK because of the high quality and it’s American made. I already had a puke tube on the bike which drained below, and I couldn’t stand the mess it created, as well as the residue going to the back tire. This can was going to resolve all of that. The product came quickly after delivery. Unfortunately, I had to return it. But not because of workmanship or other imperfections with the product. The date it arrived, I had gotten into a bad motorcycle accident and totaled my bike, through no fault of my own. A young girl nearly took my leg off, nearly hitting me bright side. I never got a chance to put it on my bike. DK took the product back and refunded my money. Outstanding customer service, overall. If I get another bike, I will definitely be adding it to this catch can. Right now that’s a big if, given the healing that needs to take place. Keep your head on a swivel & dress for the slide, not the ride!! Many thanks DK!!

I had to adjust the tubing length several times to get it to fit just under air filter housing, but nothing very hard. I checked the catch can and it looked like it had water in the bottom. Better there than in my motor! I think it’s a great product that does a great job and looks great. I polished it out and blends great with the chrome! Great Product!

Have mine mounted right below the air filter in plain site, and it blends in nicely with the bike, you don't really even notice it. Only con that I can think of is that the price seems a bit high.

When I received it there were some machining burrs & chips that had me doubting the quality control. I emailed DK & included photos. They apologized and immediately sent a replacement along with a prepaid label to return the first one. I am very pleased with the results of the install and am impressed by the customer support! Awesome problem solver! 0 people found this helpfulThree or four years ago my bike mechanic recommended I put together a drain set-up on the Sportster. I have been using a K&S intake which includes horns to feed the produced goop straight into the throat of the Carb. The set-up I put together included 1/8” tubing and a couple of tees I made from 1/8” brass tube. A drain line ran down behind the tranny. On receipt of the new EBS Catchall with a roughly 3/8” inlet I concluded my 1/8” drain surely wasn’t cutting it. I did find the bored bolts coming off the heads were plugged at the small orifice. Removed those head breathers and replaced my 1/8” nipples with 5/16” hose barbs soldered in. Made up as well a 3 ea 5/16” brass hose barbs soldered together to join to the new nipples and directly connected to the Catchall, it hangs just below the Carb (S & S Super “ E “) Easy access for draining. The Carb has been jetted same as 1200 displacement. The bike has constantly fouled plugs, (fouled instantly if you happen to leave the Enricher on) I looked at the old 883 pistons and they exhibited deposits I assume are courtesy of the injected GOOP over years. I’ve run perhaps 1000 kilometres since fitting the Catchall and I am amazed at the volume of water and petroleum product being captured. I’m convinced this EBS is likely the best new product to come to market in eons. Thanks Dwayne and Co. This is a Winner.

No more Gunk in my intake 0 people found this helpfulAfter researching the long term effects of an EPA regulated intake, and viewing the gunk that was in the breather tubes; I knew this product was necessary. I purchased the catch can along with the discrete tubing t-connector kit and drilled a 3/8 hole in my intake back plate and chamfered the edges. I ran the tubing behind the pushrod covers and dropped the tubing on the inside of the frame rail near the rear master cylinder. There is a perfect little flat perch along the frame the can sits on. I can empty out after a ride and get a lot of liquid junk that solidifies after a day. I opted for a non powder coated catch can; in terms of finish there was some deep machining marks I had to polish out. For the price I expect a smoother finished piece, likely not an issue with powdercoat finish.

Nice looking product but it didn't work in my application 0 people found this helpfulThis might work for some people but in my case the fluid that came out of the heads was all condensated water. While the catch cans may trap thicker fluids anything like water will pass right on through and easily escape the can. I do appreciate Dk customs for they're youtube vids letting us know how bad the stuff our $30,000 motorcycles are fire-breathing. I decided to dump this junk under my motorcycle and forgo the can. It's a shame because that little kml e can looked cool.

I damaged the EBS Filter and decided to replace it with the catch can. A good choice, given my high-mileage riding. The filter was just too inconvenient to clean, then let dry. I bought a refresh kit along with the Catch Can, so there is no down time due to cleaning. Great product!

My bike spits a lot of oil out the breather bolts and DK's can worked perfect! The other products I tried still leaked oil over my bike but with the design of the DK product I haven't lost a drop of oil on the bike. It contains it exceptionally and I am so pleased. I am in Canada and called to place my order. The customer service is second to none and I cannot stress enough at how pleased I am with the DK Customs and the product they make. Do not waste your money on a lesser catch can. Buy the best! DK all the way!!!

Super easy to access under the breather and the billet aluminum looks great. Here’s a tip: since this is bare billet aluminum taking 5 minutes to polish with some Mothers chrome polish will make it shine as well as protect it

I had tried other external breathers in the past but this one looked well made and I like the fact that there are stages of separation of the oil and air. Well designed product and nice people. 0 people found this helpfulThis is flat out the best designed motorcycle catch can currently available. It is designed so that oily vapor must go all the way to the bottom of the can by way of a tube and then the air vents by going back up through the filter layers and out of the top of the can. In other words the vapor has a long length of travel before venting which gives the greatest amount of oil filtering of that vapor before leaving the can. Most if not all other motorcycle catch cans have the inlet and vent outlet within very close proximity to each other which can allow the non-filtered vapor to leave through the vents as soon as it enters the can…not good and defeats the whole purpose. Dwayne and Lela were super great to work with, as mine is a custom install and I had certain tolerance and fitment concerns. There were a couple of small problems with my order and they were remedied quickly. Nice people and highly recommended!

I can help the EPA do a better job by disposing the billet can contents with my old oil that I take to the auto parts store for disposal. This catch can allows the oil to be captured and emptied occasionally when needed and it looks great! I purchased the cnc machined aluminum version.
