MORE About The Patented IAS Technology: Normally shocks have 1 circuit for for compression & rebound damping. Within this damping circuit are "shim stacks" that provide pressure sensitive adjustment to the damping. Because it is one circuit for both, it is always a compromise.
These shocks have TWO Completely different circuits (valving) for auto-adjusting rebound damping.
By having one pressure sensitive circuit for bumps in the road, and Another damping circuit for dips in the road, the damping works exceptionally well. Each damping circuit is set up to optimally, and automatically adjust the damping to the road surfaces, acceleration, braking, load (weight) on the Trike.

Note: Even though the 2009-2016 Trikes will run this Trike Series Shock™ without the Convertible Comfort Lift™, they will sit more level and ride smoother with a Convertible Comfort Lift™.

Limited Life Time Warranty Details:
For the original purchaser of the shocks
Does not cover accidents, fire, environmental catastrophes (submerged in a flood, etc.)
Does not cover if the shocks were abused (overloading them), improper installation
If they are installed properly, not overloaded, not damaged by some external force, then they are Lifetime shocks for the original purchaser....if they wear out, they will be rebuilt/replaced at no charge.

Huge ride improvement 0 people found this helpfulI purchased these for a 2018 Freewheeler and installed both the shocks and comfort lift. I did run into some small issues from a previous install (used bike, other install was prior to my ownership), but the ride changed significantly for me and my daughter that rides with me. Smaller road imperfections disappeared and larger bumps were much more manageable. Pricing is about on par with other premium shocks, and these definitely create a significant ride improvement and the install isn't bad. Recommend these shocks and the comfort lift.

The only problems we had were Harley's engineering 0 people found this helpfulInstalled this kit (FINALLY!), this past Saturday. Had to work around some clearance issues, but we got it! LOL! When I rode it up the driveway, I was shocked at the difference, and the 30 mile ride home was great! Put another 120 on it today, with wife aboard, and really enjoyed it. Ride and handling improvements far surpassed my expectations! Thanks, guys.

Only wired thing is why do I have to send back a little card for the warranty? When the shocks were bought all of the information is the same as what is requested on the card. There could be a better system to acknowledge the warranty IMO. Great product

To address the issue I put on Nex Gen shocks with comfort lift, AK-20 fork cartridge kit, the bearings with the beefier retaining plate. Not cheap but transformed the trike. Made riding much more enjoyable.

Exactly what I needed 0 people found this helpfulCouldn't be happier with this purchase. Both my wife and I are larger people and we were bottoming out going up driveways and over speed bumps. This suspension and lift raised the back about 1 inch at the tailpipes. No more bottoming out. The ride is so smooth now. Bumpy roads and bridges are so much better. It's an expensive upgrade but definitely worth it. Highly recommend.

Should have done it sooner 1 people found this helpfulWell, there are many choices for shocks for a Trike. I decided to give DK a shot based on the reviews and info provided by DK. Before the shocks went on, the Trike was harsh and felt every bump in the road. I put the 13" shocks and comfort lift on the trike. The results were immediate. Every bump in the road is gone. Every manhole in the road didn't feel it. Railroad tracks, 90% gone. The best part is that once you order them, and install them, you get to just ride and the smile you have is the best money spent. Don't wait, stop reading, and order.

Bought the nexgen shocks and comfort lift and rode 350 miles with them and all I can say is nite and day difference in the ride.

After installing i had to wait a month for the Ice and snow to clear up before I could test drive. I rode smooth highway road and back country roads on my test ride. Turned my 24 Freewheeler into a comfort riding machine. Way smoother ride, much easier to steer and feels really grounded to the pavement. My wife says it was worth every penny. Like all DK products they are outstanding

Install it yourself 1 people found this helpfulHave only ridden about 40 miles, but definitely noticeable better (more solid) feel of the road and more comfortable feeling of control. This was a DIY install. Hint: Attach bottom of shock to Lift bracket with Loctite and torque it on workbench. Attach Lift bracket with shock to bottom of trike with 1 bolt only, not tight. Attach top of shock to trike with Loctite and torque. Use two floor jacks (one at back and one under welded chain link) and adjust lift of trike to line up other two Lift bracket bolts for install. Add Loctite and install. Remover first Lift bracket bolt, add Loctite, reinstall and torque all three Lift bracket bolts.

Comfort ride combo kit 2 people found this helpfulIt’s a bit unfair that I have my own shop to work in. Installation was just under 2 hours including watching 2 different videos.. My 2023 rides much better, and steers a little easier. Most importantly though, is the wife likes the ride better now..she said,” it feels like I’m sitting on a cushion seat again”!! That’s in itself is worth every penny.. If you have the factory hydraulic suspension get rid of it. If you change it out yourself, start up on top under the seat, disconnect the adjuster and lines first.. then go after the shocks and lift bracket.. It’s not that bad. If I were to a second install I bet I could do it in under an hour..

A world of difference. 2 people found this helpfulI bought a used 2020 triglide with 4000 miles on it. My first ride I thought "why in the world did I buy this bike", the ride was horrible. I then started doing research on how to improve the triglide suspension and decided to buy the Nexgen shocks with the comfort lift kit. I did the install myself by watching a YouTube video. Today I took it for a test ride, bumpy roads, railroad tracks, etc. I can honestly say the ride was a 100% improvement over the stock system. Thanks DK Customs for a great product.

Very pleased 1 people found this helpfulHad the kit installed by HD dealer. within a quarter mile and the first rolling turn I was convinced I made the right choice. 40 mile trip home and was even more impressed. Curves that felt uneasy at 50 mph were much easier even at 60 now. I just ordered the intimidator set for the front forks, it still bounces around through all curves and I am confident that is about to be greatly improved. Trike had 5000 miles and the stock suspension that beat me and the wife up. I saw some forum responses that these are just hyped up reviews and was skeptical. The 13" nex gen shocks do everything their videos show/claim.

Excellent product 0 people found this helpfulI installed the 13"next gen trike shocks with the comfort lifts on my 2024 road glide 3 and the difference is like night and day, the OEM shocks were so harsh I felt like I was riding the hard tail sportster I had back in the 1970s.There are some really bad roads where I live and the next gen shocks give a much softer plusher ride, the side to side rocking is still there because of the solid axle but it's much softer more subdued now. I took the body off to install them because I have back problems and it was easier for me to do it that way it was still a very easy straight forward installation. Great product !

Best money I’ve spent since buying the Trike 0 people found this helpfulThese 13” Nexgen Shocks with the Comfort Lift along with the install of the Intimidator valves in the front forks illuminated 90 % of the ruff ride out of this Trike. I just wish I had installed them sooner. They are everything DK Custom Products advertise the to be. If you want to smooth out your ride on your TriGlide I highly recommend them.

13” NexGens and comfort lift bracket 0 people found this helpfulRecently purchased a 2020 Tri glide that the dealer had installed low profile tires and wheels from a 2025. Thought I had made a big mistake. Wheels looked awesome but my neck couldn’t handle the horrible ride. Researched and found DK. Installed the recommended 13” Nex Gens with bracket and am a happy rider again. Tried adjusting the stock shocks from 0 to 25, tire pressure down to 18, saddle man butt pad, even purchased stock rims and tires in case the nexgens didn’t work. They did, won’t need to switch tires and rims out now. Thanks DK for a quality product.

The bumps are certainly mellowed out and the trike is more stable going over rough spots in the road and over RR tracks . I’ve put on about 200 miles since installation and feel the quality of ride now was worth the work and expense.

Better But Not a Perfect Ride 0 people found this helpfulGood improvement in ride on paved roads however, not seeing a great improvement riding off pavement down a dirt road 2 miles to my house over wash board. May need to back off the pre-load a little at a time and see if that helps. Quality of the NEXGEN shocks and mounts are first class. Hoping dialing in some makes the ride a bit better than the little improvement so far though.

50 Miles Of Smiles 0 people found this helpfulI just installed the NEXGEN 13" Combo on my 2025 Triglide and I am floored by the results! I noticed a difference as soon as I pulled out of my driveway! The handling and comfort is by far better than the OEM shocks! I noticed the waddle of the rear tires going over imperfections was nearly gone and the rear lifting going around corners decreased. Although I have only put a little over 50 miles on these NEXGENs I can say they were a good investment. They do as they say! My wife was impressed and happy and noticed a huge difference immediately! She not only is more comfortable over bumpy roads, she does not slide around anymore like she did with the OEM shocks installed. Happy Wife approved! I also noticed the ride and handling did not change going from solo to 2 up. DK Customs did a great job presetting the shocks for us, making this a great purchase on a quality product!

Before the lift and shocks, the left side sat 1/4” higher than the right. All in all, it feels much safer than stock. If you’re reading reviews to see if these are a possible choice for your ride. Just do it. You won’t be disappointed.

Smooth ride on the Tri Glide. 1 people found this helpfulI live in a neighborhood with the absolute worst streets. With the stock shocks every bump and pot hole was bone jarring. The Nexgen 13” shocks with the convertible comfort lift brackets absorbs the bumps and makes for a much more comfortable ride. And when on the highways and interstates the ride is super smooth and the handling feels so much better.

Awesome products 0 people found this helpfulI ordered this package on March 25th and it was delivered about a week later. No problem. A friend offered to help me install it and I happily accepted his offer. Took us about 2 hours to install, as I had watched videos of the install many times. I took it for a test ride, about a mile and I knew I made the right decision. A few days later I got my bride on the back seat, and before we got a mile from home she tapped my shoulder and said "This makes a big difference." Not one to say I told you so, I just nodded. Bottom line: If you ride a trike, this should be your first aftermarket purchase. Hands down the best thing I've done. Thanks DK!

Great product - Issues with install 2 people found this helpfulI purchased the combo package of the Comfort Lift paired with the 13" NextGen shocks for mu 2022 CVO Tri-Glide. I followed the instructions step by step: Jacked it up as recommended, removed both stock shocks and lower mounts, etc. I started on the right side of the bike and as stated I had to lower the jack under the diff and the holes for the comfort lift and shocks allowed for easy install of all components. I was very ompressed. I then moved to the left side and had nothing but problems: when I loosely installed the lower shock bolt to the comfort lift, the top hole for the comfort lift would not align and when I tried to loosely start the bolts for the comfort lift the lower shock could not be bolted up. I raised and lowered the diff as well as the bike various times and the still would not line up. I finally called Support and they told me that I needed to install the comfort lift on both sides of the bike before installing the shocks. I removed the comfort lift and shock from the right side and did as they instructed, this time starting on the left side of the bike. Still had alignment issues. I reinstalled the components on the right side and they went in with no issue. I again began messing with jacking of the diff and bike and after a full afternoon of messing around I finally got the holes close enough where I could start the bolts and though they were extremely tight I was able to get everything tightened down. I was deeply concerned about the install problems but got everything torqued down and took it out for a ride. The ride and steering are tremendously improved over stock.

Night and day difference over stock suspension 1 people found this helpfulI purchased a new freewheeler for my wife. After driving it home on freeway for about an hour amd a half, I thought my kidneys were bleeding. It felt like riding in a buckboard wagon. I have Legend Rev A’s on my street glide but After some research decided to try the DK’s. Gave them all the riding weights amd perimeters and they really dialed it in perfectly. It is night and day difference and I love the fact that it was an easy install with no additional adjustments required. Hard to shell out that kind of money on a week old bike, but well worth the investment.

NEXGEN comfort lift combo. 13 inch DK Shocks 2 people found this helpfulTook forever to get to me in Oz, days to come from Dk to leave US shores! Was so impressive until star track/aust post handled it. Anyway, once received I installed without any bits off, X fingers would feel the change, especially by time in oz, owed me nearly 2.5k with exchange, duty, tax, fees. Bloody Australia loves giving it to its tax payers. Anyway, blown away, no resemblance to air, progressives or lift shit. Took Mrs for a ride and it was instantly obvious the shocking crap roads around us were now tamed. All the minor lumps, holes, ridges etc were tamed. Onto the main drag, still a shocking patched road, it evened this all out too. We all up only weight 200 & Dk set us up nicely. The sag gone, leveled out, ready for some plush plus harder stuff, a multi functional job ahead, we were impressed & there’s room for adjust for just me, hard riding, and or super comfortable on smoother hi ways etc. Great result, needs minor fine tune but as shared, immediately obvious and superior by far. Happy. Just a real shame Harley don’t sort independent suspension on trikes and or offer greater flexibility with suspension, they have always been useless to absolutely sinful and I’m 70 & owned a shit load. Anyhoo, buy these, for sure if own a trike. Do as they say, DK are great, product quality outstanding. Overall, for me, for us, worth the money even though dearest shocks on the planet to me. Ride safe, have fun.

I purchased the Nexgen 13" shocks with lift kit. 2 people found this helpfulMy wife and I only weigh 250 together and ride was still to rough on my 2023 Road Glide 3. I actually loaded my trike up and took it down to DK Customs. Devin the owner worked with me and my wife until the ride was improved dramatically. He even worked on it after hours while we went to the motel. We came out next morning at 9AM and he had it prefect. We also wanted the measurements off my Road Glide 3 so he would know how to take care of the next person with that trike. Devin is a very impressive guy who has built this business from the ground up. He'll help you get where you need to be with his products. Could not have been happier with him and his staff.

Best upgrade ever! 1 people found this helpfulOur thoughts after our first ride (five and a half hours) on the 13" Nexgens w/lift. An amazing difference! I came from a street glide that I put Legends on to try to comfort my wife who has back pain. Legends helped but she still hurt after a half hour, so I wasn't expecting a magical difference with the Nexgens, I was wrong! These Nexgens have allowed her to ride for hours without back pain!! My wife said these Nexgens are 1000 times better than anything we've been riding over the past 6 years; she is thrilled with these shocks! Well worth the money!!! Highly recommend!

Wow 1 people found this helpfulI tried the lift and less expensive shocks on 2011 Triglide, huge difference in ride especially for passenger. Traded 2011 for 2015. Installed lift and nexgen shocks. WOW. Passenger is happy and it may be me but the side to side action on triglide is mostly gone and ride quality is smooth. These guys know their stuff.

Yes! That is one of the goals of developing and building these shocks. To keep the Trike flat and stable, reducing that side to side or rolling movement.

Nice ride and handling upgrade! 2 people found this helpfulHad the NEXGEN shocks and comfort lift put on my 2017 Freewheeler. It made a very noticeable difference in the ride quality and smoothness as well as feeling more stable in curves. It is not cheap but since it is a one and done purchase, it is well worth the investment for the long term benefits!

Wife says impressive 2 people found this helpfulFinished the install the other day, I noticed a marked improvement on ride quality right away. I Watched a couple of the videos and all went well, i opted to remove the body, 8 bolts and a couple wire harnesses and eliminated all the crawling around the garage floor! Much easier. Acid test today, had the wife hop on for a quick trial run two up. Wifey has lower back and hip issues so the trike was a way for us to keep riding together, easier for her to get on and off. Pulled in the garage and asked her what she thought, she said we needed to talk, I started thinking of the money and time I spent on this upgrade and was hoping she had a good comment. Final verdict from wifey… she rated the stock ride a 2.3 and now with the lift and the 13” Nexgen’s it’s a 9.4! Huge improvement, great job guys!

WOW 1 people found this helpfulGetting a bit older and unsteady on two wheels but not wanting to give up riding all together I thought a trike would be the perfect solution. Purchased a 2023 with a little over 2000 miles on it and after the first hour of riding it I thought I had made one of the biggest mistakes of my life. I could not believe how stiff, rough and uncomfortable it was to ride. After reading all of the positive reviews on the NexGen shock and comfort lift combo I figured I would give it a try. So -Long story short --WOW--Night and day difference in the quality of comfort and handling over the stock suspension..For us it was close to a CDN$1700 investment but I am very pleased to say it was MORE THAN well worth the money!!!! Customer service was amazing and RACHEL was AWSOME to deal with. If you are at all concerned if the money will be worth it --DONT BE --NIGHT & DAY DIFFERENCE !!!! THANKS D K CUSTOMS

Great upgrade for 2019 tri glide 1 people found this helpfulShocks and lifts are exactly as advertised. it truly does even out the bumps. Also makes for a safer ride at high speeds over bumpy expressway roads. I tried adjusting the stock shocks for the last year and could not find a good setting. Install was relatively easy if you have some mechanical knowledge and the proper tools. Removing the old shocks is more work due to hard to remove bolts. I have also installed the outlaw 606 air flow system, gas tank lift and deflector wings, footboard relocation for rider and passenger and the best bang for the buck the Thunder Torque inserts. All products work as advertised and quality of products and directions are excellent. Also, all the informational videos are great on YouTube.

Great Ride 0 people found this helpful2023 Tri-Glide - Before the roads were exhausting battling the bumps and potholes, once the shocks were replaced those are no longer an issue. Event the wife is pleased. I did find it easier to remove the Tri-Glide body (only 8 bolts) to get to the upper bolts. The whole process took about 1.5 hours.

Can't say enough good things about these shocks 0 people found this helpfulThe shocks and lift kit made our trike a whole new machine. I can't say enough good things about this product. They are worth every penny. We were typically in agony after about an hour on the trike and were worried that we had made a bad choice. After installing them, literally in a couple hundred yards we realized that the problem had been completely resolved. The trike rides so smoothly now it's hard to believe it is the same machine. We're no strangers to long rides and now this is easily the smoothest riding bike we have ever ridden. It seems to handle better but more importantly, I had developed the bad habit of looking right in front of the trike to avoid even the tiniest of bumps. Now I'm back to looking across curves and several seconds down the road in general. Clearly my riding ability had become compromised and now it's back where it should be. So, indirectly, the shocks made the trike a much safer ride. Thank you so much for such an enjoyable ride!

The install was easy following the detailed instructions provided but the big bonus was in the first ride we took. An amazing improvement on the factory shocks that made us both smile. Managed to get two rides in before our next snow storm and can’t wait to get on the road again. Thank you DK custom!!! Floorboard extensions next on my agenda.

NEXGEN Shocks & Comfort Lift 1 people found this helpfulOK so here's where the rubber literally meets the road. The 1st DK piece that I installed was the Rider Floorboard Extensions. I thought "wow these really work great" Next the Transformer EBS and I thought "wow what a classy addition to the Trike". Added the Outlaw 606 AC System and I thought "Holy S@#T, this thing runs amazing" Time to do something about the ride quality. My research had me settled in on the 13" NEXGEN Shocks and Comfort Lift Kit. I am rarely at a loss for words. I have added 46 upgrades over this past year and the NEXGEN Shocks and Lift Kit is probably the best investment I have made. We are almost always 2 up riding and the improvement to handling & ride comfort was outstanding for the both of us.. Really glad I did this. The improvement is smile inducing obvious! Thanks guys for all your input!!

Made a "great" ride 0 people found this helpfulInstalled the shocks along with the 'comfort lift kit'. We went to Biketoberfest the day after the install. Rode 900 miles round trip. The wife LOVED the difference in the ride. Far more comfortable.
