The Rain Sock is a silicone treated, polyester wrap that is made to cover The K&N air filter used on the Outlaw 828 Air Cleaner. These contain uniform micron sized openings that allow high air flow. Yet, due to the silicone treated polyester wrap, the amount of water that reaches the air filter is limited.
You can run the rain sock with the logo showing up top, or with the logo on the bottom. See Photos.

Rain sock 0 people found this helpfulProduct is well made, but to me not really practical. I was think of a larger sock like the stock hd has for the ventilator. Haven’t used it yet, looks like it could come off fairly easy. Pricey for you get.

Don't waste your time 2 people found this helpfulThe rain sock is horrible, takes both hands and a foot to put it on. Looks like a headband. Even when you finally get it on the vibration of the motor will slide it to the center of the filter. It would be so much better if it was designed to cover the entire intake, not to mention easier to put on. I will be ordering me one like that.
