An External Breather System (EBS) is preferred with any Air Cleaner System. This allows for only clean cool air to go into the air cleaner and engine, increasing performance and engine longevity.
This kit will work with ALL OUTLAW HiFlow Air Cleaners and many other aftermarket Stage 1 Air Cleaners*.
The EPA has required Harley to route hot, dirty, oily crankcase air back into the air cleaner compromising the performance of your engine. This vents it without compromising the performance and longevity of your motor.
With this breather system you will experience a slight performance increase. This is because engines like Cold, Dry, Oxygen Rich air!
When ordering, Choose a Machine Cut Aluminum Finish or a Black Powder Coat Finish.
The Machine Cut Billet Aluminum Finish that can be polished to a Mirror Finish.
There are options for Standard Catch Can & XL Catch Can. The XL Catch Can Is 33% Larger holding 3 ounces of liquid, where the Standard Catch Can holds 1 ounce of liquid. If your bike tends to spits out more liquid, the XL may be a better choice. You can learn more about each option by clicking the links: XL Black, XL MCF, Standard Black, Standard MCF.

The top of the Catch Can is attached to the hose by a zip tie or hose clamp (both supplied w/ the kit). The bottom of the Catch Can threads to the top.
Anytime you want, you can un-screw the can portion, empty out all the gunk, and then thread it back together.
The top of the Catch Can is vented, letting the air escape, while the 4 Stage Filtration catches and holds the oil.

*Fits ALL Outlaw Air Cleaners. For aftermarket A/C's, If your air cleaner system utilzes a support bracket that is no thicker than 1/4", this will fit.
There are Optional Black Fiber & Stainless Steel Braided Hose & Black or Chrome Hose Clamp Covers, and blacked-out hose clamps if you prefer that look to the Black Hose and plain hose clamps or zip ties.

Worked great 1 people found this helpfulInstalled on 2020 FXBB. Have a Vance and Hines VO2 falcon (90deg). The OEM breather bolt broke and was spitting oil everywhere. This EBS fits fine with that air cleaner. The breather bolts on the VH seem to add support that you sacrifice with this system, and that is something I’m going to watch for. May need to fab a bracket. But VH does a great job of masking the hoses. Took her for rip and so far so good.

An absolute must have product 3 people found this helpfulCrikey! what Harley have to do to manage emission regulations literally sucks! You must watch the videos posted by DK Customs about the muck that goes back into your intake and the mess it makes. Then you will realize that the DK Customs external breather systems are an absolute must have. Pretty straight forward to install and a great setup. Well done DK CUSTOMS for yet another great product.

A must have! 3 people found this helpfulI didn’t know much about external breather systems but after browsing the internet and watching DK CUSTOMS videos I’m relieved that I’ve installed one. I only had 9k miles on my bike but from this point on the muck that this system catches won’t be going back into the motor . This would definitely be the 1st mod I do to a new bike from now on.

EBS product and install 2 people found this helpfulI purchased the entire kit and then changed just about everything. I started off with a screaming eagle intake which I drilled to use the Banjo bolts, ran the hose and did not like the look. I then replaced all t=of the banjo bolts and went with steel braided brake line material, as I had the lines made here locally. I brought them all together and the end look is great, so far no leaks or blow back over the chrome on the motor. If I bought this again I would have just gone with the catch can as that is the only thing that I used from the entire kit.

Clean look and responsive 1 people found this helpfulVery happy with the air cleaner. My M8 is noticeably more responsive and while I still have stock exhaust and slip-ons it also has a little more sound. Customer service was excellent too. During the install I broke one of the breather bolts trying to stop blow by seeping around the fitting. I called for a replacement and while they assured me they would send another bolt they wanted more information to see why I was having trouble. They sent the breaker bolts and some nylon washers to help with the seal. Worked great thank you!

Breather system 1 people found this helpfulGreat product. Fit and finish is top notch. Fairly simple install, seems to be working as expected. I used a couple of extra hose clamps rather than the zip ties. Hides well behind the 828 air cleaner on an m8.

Easy fix for a growing problem on the M8 1 people found this helpfulThoroughly impressed, kit contains everything you might need. I installed this along with the 587 Air cleaner kit for M8 on a 2017 Freewheeler. I am a woman - if I can do this then anyone can do this! DK Customs provides excellent, easy to follow instructions. I really wanted to hang that shiny little catch can directly under the air cleaner but clearance was iffy, so I hung it to the left side hanging straight down from the left breather bolt with the right side hose curved under the air cleaner and it still looks great! I suppose I'll be answering Q's as to what it is now, even my husband asked what it was before I installed it LOL. Later I am going to replace the black hose with braided stainless hose because it will look better than great then. I am looking forward to no more oil misting on my rides, it's become a real problem and although still under warranty my dealer refused to cover costs for the HD fix. Installing this voids the warranty too, but no matter as its up in a couple weeks anyway. Their fix estimate was triple the cost of this too, crooks...or did they think they could take advantage cuz I'm a woman? Quite frankly, I trust DK Customs more than I trust them when it comes to what is good for the bike and everything I have purchased and installed from DK has performed exactly as described.

2017 Slim S 1 people found this helpfulSo I wanted to comment on my first ride with this breather kit from a couple days ago. I have a 17 Slim S and I installed the catch can version of this breather kit. The black can with the black braided hose is very stealthy and just plain sick looking. So today I got to go for a ride and I know butt dynos are only worth the opinion of the owner of said Butt. Lol ........But........... DAYUM!!!!!! She really pulls much harder and the rpms seem to climb faster too. It's even MORE torqy feeling. Lol Love it. No more oil mist air going into my ride. Just clean humid (NJ) air. LOL. Just follow the directions carefully. I am COMPLETELY satisfied with this mod. Thank you DK for awesome products. God Bless.

Collector Works great, but banjo bolts were not air tight 1 people found this helpfulPROS: I purchased this kit after a failed attempt with a Golan oil collector to prevent oil blow-by spraying on my chrome pipes . The DK premium oil collector is a superior design to the Golan, is bigger, and so far has prevented any oil spray from coming out the holes at the top of the collector. CONS: The banjo bolts and washers do not create an air/oil tight seal and there was some oil escaping between the banjo bolt and washers. I added some high temp gasket sealant between the banjo bolts and washers which solved the problem.

Great product, worth every penny 1 people found this helpfulThis is one of the best jobs of "one size fits whatever" that I've seen. Plenty of hose and fittings for any configuration that I can think of, no worries about whether it'll fit your needs. Could tell an immediate difference without the oil getting sucked down the engine's throat. Finish of all parts definitely up to DK's high standards.
